Emma and Jon
Tweet
Emma dropped me a message on my Facebook page to book a photoshoot with her husband Jon and their family.
I love photographing family portraits at Wollaton Hall. With the beautiful backdrop, I usually let the children run and play for a bit which gives amazing and natural smiles.

Steve, Jess and Klaus
Tweet
I've worked with Jess a number of times in a fashion context so it was lovely to hear from her and her fiancé Steve for their “Save the Date” engagement images.
They wanted to include Klaus, their miniature Schnauzer in the photos and got him a little bowtie and made a sign.
Wollaton Hall in Nottingham is always a great background for images, its local and very recognisable as a Nottingham landmark.
It was a blustery day so there were ears flapping everywhere but Klaus was fantastically behaved as of course was Steve and Jess.

Justin, Zoe and Baby Bump
Tweet
I first met Zoe at a Flashes and Lashes Hen Party as a guest of the hen. A very cute and giggly one I was super happy to meet Zoe again when she joined my Roller Derby team. It was shortly after, that Zoe approached me to photograph her wedding to Justin. She explained that she wad very nervous about being photographed and, as I had shot her before she would love for it to be me as I made her feel calm and comfortable.
As the months went by in the run up to the wedding, much to Justin and Zoe's surprise they announced that they were expecting and that Zoe would be around 6 months pregnant on the wedding day. To me, that was no problem at all so I was happy to join in Zoe and Justin's excitement!
This was the second wedding I've photographed this year at Wollaton Hall so I had a good idea of the set up and that the planners have military precision so I was glad when I got my printed up time table.
On the morning of the wedding, I headed to their house where Zoe, her mum and the bridesmaids were getting ready. Zoe buzzed about making sure that everyone was taken care of making tea, coffee and lunch, I think we managed to get her to sit down for a total of 30 minutes to get her hair and make up done!
I rushed off to Wollaton Hall to catch Justin and the guests arriving and then Zoe. It was a bit of a blustery day and Zoe's veil flew off and I managed to dash and catch it! We headed inside and the ceremony went off without a hitch.
After that, the rest of the day was super relaxed, we breezed through the group shots and then it was time for dinner. The tables had the cutest sweetie centrepieces and Zoe even sorted me my own sweets as I couldn't eat the table ones.
After dinner the drink continued to flow and lots of dancing. I was so grateful to be part of a wonderful day.
